Hello!
I am Gill McColl, a graphic designer with a love of print design, letterpress, gocco, typography and vintage advertising.
I work as a designer at The Touch Agency in Edinburgh, having previously worked as a freelance designer and a book designer at Mainstream Publishing. Previous clients have included, Channel 4 (Mint Digital), Eskimo Design, Tsuko, Flock, Heedi Design, Creative State, Hannah Zakari, DeAgostini, Chambers Harrap, Routledge, The Sunday Times, The British Museum, The Audience Business, Creative Boom, Amnesty International and the Imperial War Museum.
In my spare time, I run Take the Proverbial. Starting as a small student project, Take the Proverbial prints, homewares, bags and stationery are now stocked in a number of independent design stores and galleries across the globe and are available from selected online retailers.
